Blue Jays announce 2014 schedule

Season tickets available on September 12

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS will open the 2014 Championship Season on the road with a four game series vs. AL East rivals the Tampa Bay Rays beginning on Monday, March 31. The club returns home for a six-game homestand beginning with the Honda Home Opening Series against the New York Yankees that commences with the Honda Home Opener on Friday, April 4 at 7:07 p.m. 2014 will mark the Blue Jays 38th season in the American League.

The Blue Jays will complete the opening homestand with three games vs. 2nd year American League members, the Houston Astros from April 8-10.  Fellow AL East division foes Baltimore and Boston come to Toronto for three-game series during the second homestand, beginning with the Orioles on April 22-24 followed by the Red Sox from April 25-27.

Fans looking for the best seats in 2014 now have the ability to purchase Season Tickets beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday,, September 12 by contacting the Ticket Sales Department at 1-888-OK-GO-JAY, 416-341-1234 or www.bluejays.com. Special incentives to those subscribers who are paid in full by December 6 will be offered again this season. Fans are asked to contact the club for details.  Single game ticket sales will not begin until February. 

Interleague play will see the Philadelphia Phillies (May 7-8), St. Louis Cardinals (June 6-8), Milwaukee Brewers (July 1-2) and Chicago Cubs (Sept. 8-10) make a visit to Toronto during the 2014 season. The Blue Jays will play 10 road contests in Interleague play, featuring games against the Pittsburgh Pirates (May 2-4), Philadelphia Phillies (May 5-6), Cincinnati Reds (June 20-22) and Milwaukee Brewers (Aug. 19-20).
