Blue Jays announce postseason ticket info

ARLINGTON -- The Blue Jays began to make their initial preparations for the possibility of postseason baseball by announcing October ticket information on Tuesday afternoon.

Postseason tickets will be made available to season-ticket holders on Wednesday. Flex-pack holders who purchased their package before Dec. 5, 2014, are eligible to buy postseason tickets on Sept. 4.

Flex-pack holders who bought their package after Dec. 5, 2014, have access after Sept. 4, and six-pack holders can buy them on Sept. 8. The final group with special rights includes the new 2016 season-ticket holders, who have access starting on Sept. 10.

The remaining tickets will be made available to the general public on Sept. 23. Strips must be purchased for all series up front, with the exception of the general public sale, which will be on a per-game basis.

Toronto also has decided to sell the WestJet Flight Deck tickets on a standing-room-only basis starting on Sept. 23.
