Kelsey Panton on Sunday became the 20,000th child to receive a wish from The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. Panton, who was diagnosed with lymphoma at age 16, was granted her wish to throw out the first pitch at a Blue Jays game. She threw a pitch to her favorite player, Brett Lawrie, and met many other players who all presented her with flowers. “Today has been incredible,” she told me. “Best day of my life by far!”
Here’s wishing Miss Panton many more incredible days in the future.
