Book Review: Fenway Park: 100 Years

It’s impossible to be a true baseball fan without paying homage to the teams that paved the way for what Major League Baseball is today. One of those teams – the Boston Red Sox – is celebrating a major milestone this weekend as they say hello to 100 years at Fenway Park. Fans from across Red Sox Nation will be taking over Boston to help celebrate this important anniversary and the MLB Fan Cave is getting in on the action here in New York City, thanks to a special book.

Fenway Park: 100 Years is the official, definitive history of America’s most beloved ballpark, which came together thanks to a unique collaboration between Major League Baseball and the Boston Red Sox. With a foreword by New England native Stephen King, Fenway Park: 100 Years breaks down every era of Red Sox history with beautiful photos, the perfect coffeetable book for anyone who loves (or fears) the Green Monster. Filled with personal stories and historical accounts, the book also features exclusive tributes from some of the most well-known fans including Conan O’Brien, Ben Affleck, James Taylor and former players Carl Yastrzemski, Kevin Millar and Jim Rice.

Fenway Park: 100 Years can be purchased at the MLB Fan Cave today from 12pm to 7pm during the Fenway Park 100th Anniversary Ultimate Viewing Party presented by ’47 Brand. Copies signed by David Ortiz and unsigned copies will be available. So head down to 692 Broadway and help us celebrate the most iconic ballpark - and of course, cheer on the Red Sox as they gear up to host the Yankees.
