Rox's Barnes likely to miss rest of year

Blackmon returns; Flande may not pitch again in '15

DENVER -- Rockies reserve outfielder Brandon Barnes likely will miss the rest of the season with a left hamstring strain, manager Walt Weiss said Friday.

Barnes, hitting .251 with two home runs and 17 RBIs, left in the sixth inning of Wednesday's 13-6 loss to the Pirates.

Leadoff man Charlie Blackmon returned to the lineup Friday after missing two games with neck stiffness and hit a solo shot, his 17th homer of the season, in a 7-4 victory over the Dodgers.

It's uncertain whether lefty Yohan Flande (3-3, 4.88 ERA), hit on the left knee by a line drive during his last start, will start or appear in a game, Weiss said.
