McCann, Gardner could romp vs. Phils

Brian McCann (Yankees): The catcher may be in an ideal position to improve on his career .834 OPS against right-handers (.748 vs. lefties) when he hits at his offense-inducing home park against Phillies righty Sean O'Sullivan (career 5.69 ERA, 1.54 WHIP).

Brett Gardner (Yankees): With 24 homers and 36 steals since the outset of the 2014 season, the outfielder has proven that he can contribute to DraftKings squads in multiple ways. Gardner could drive in multiple runs against O'Sullivan (4.79 ERA in 2015) or swipe a base against catcher Carlos Ruiz, who has failed to stop 31 of 38 basestealers this season.

Alex Rodriguez (Yankees): The slugger will bring an impressive .303/.382/.561 career slash line against right-handers into the Tuesday matchup with O'Sullivan (1.44 WHIP in 2015). Of note: Rodriguez and his teammates will look to put balls in play against a Phillies team that ranks 26th in the Majors with a .673 defensive efficiency ratio.

Todd Frazier (Reds): Hitting .292 with 23 homers and 48 RBIs across 264 at-bats, the third baseman has been among the best at his position this season. Frazier could make improvements on his lifetime .834 OPS vs. left-handers (.795 against righties) at the expense of Pirates southpaw Jeff Locke (career 1.38 WHIP).

Brandon Phillips (Reds): The veteran second baseman has long fared best vs. left-handers, against whom he has a lifetime .800 OPS (.718 vs. righties). Joining Frazier and the recently activated Marlon Byrd, Phillips could be part of a Reds stack against Locke (4.74 ERA, 1.45 WHIP in 2015).

Wilmer Flores (Mets): With 10 homers across 233 at-bats, the shortstop has been among the most powerful players at his position this season. Flores could drive in multiple runs when he brings his career .687 OPS against right-handers (.539 vs. lefties) into a contest at hitter-friendly Miller Park against righty Mike Fiers (4.50 ERA, 1.55 WHIP in 2015).

Lucas Duda (Mets): The first baseman has hit 34 homers across 582 at-bats against right-handers since the outset of last season, which has contributed to an .875 OPS in those matchups (.703 vs. lefties). From his premium lineup position, Duda could rip a round-tripper or reach base several times against Fiers.

Ryan Braun (Brewers): As a big leaguer, Braun has produced a game-changing 1.027 OPS against left-handers (.874 vs. righties). The outfielder could be the centerpiece of a Tuesday Brewers stack against Mets southpaw Jon Niese, who has registered a 4.46 FIP and a 1.49 WHIP this season.

Aramis Ramirez (Brewers): In his career, Ramirez has handled left-handers to the tune of an .897 OPS (.818 vs. righties). The third baseman could reach base several times when he hits at his offense-inducing home park against Niese (career 1.36 WHIP).

Jonathan Lucroy (Brewers): Lucroy could provide DraftKings participants with premium production from the catcher position when he puts his lifetime .869 OPS against left-handers (.739 vs. righties) on the line against Niese.

Jake Lamb (D-backs): During his brief time in the Majors, the third baseman has produced a .735 OPS against right-handers in comparison to a .414 mark vs. lefties. Lamb could be poised for a big game when he travels to hitter-friendly Coors Field to face righty Kyle Kendrick (5.95 ERA, 1.44 WHIP in 2015).

Paul Goldschmidt (D-backs): Goldschmidt has been the gold standard of fantasy performers this season, with a .356 average, 19 homers, 57 RBIs and 12 steals across 247 at-bats. The first baseman could be worth a large expenditure by DraftKings participants when he hits at homer-happy Coors Field against Kendrick and a Rockies bullpen that ranks last in baseball with a 4.58 ERA.

Carlos Martinez (Cardinals): With a 2.80 ERA in 80 1/3 frames, Martinez has established himself as a reliable fantasy starter this season. The right-hander could continue to thrive when he pitches at offense-suppressing Marlins Park against a Miami lineup that ranks 27th in the Majors with a .664 OPS against righties. After leaving the game Tuesday, Martinez may be well-supported by a Cardinals bullpen that ranks second in baseball with a 2.13 ERA.

Madison Bumgarner (Giants): The model of consistency, Bumgarner has posted an ERA between 2.77 and 3.37 during each season since 2010. The left-hander could compile a handful of quality innings when he plies his trade at his pitcher-friendly home park against a Padres lineup that ranks 25th in the Majors with a .672 OPS.

Chris Archer (Rays): Pitchers facing the Blue Jays are rarely recommended for DraftKings contests, but Archer -- who has a 2.18 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP this season -- has the skills to handle Toronto's talented lineup at his pitcher-friendly home park. The right-hander may benefit from throwing in front of a Tampa Bay unit that ranks fifth in the Majors with a .708 defensive efficiency ratio, and he could come away with a win in a seemingly advantageous matchup against R.A. Dickey (4.96 ERA in 2015).

Jeff Samardzija (White Sox): With a 4.67 ERA to this point in an uneven 2015 season, Samardzija may have an economical cost in DraftKings contests when he travels to pitcher-friendly Target Field to face the Twins. The right-hander -- who has thrown at least seven innings in nine of his 14 starts this season -- could compile several quality frames against a Minnesota lineup that ranks 23rd in the Majors with a .670 OPS against right-handers and 27th with 55 runs scored during June.
