Cardinals announce roster moves
Lyons & G. Garcia optioned to Memphis (AAA), two others re-assigned to minors
The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have optioned left-handed pitcher Tylor Lyons and infielder Greg Garcia to the Memphis Redbirds (AAA) roster and re-assigned non-roster catcher Carson Kelly to the Palm Beach (A) roster and non-roster infielder Breyvic Valera to the Memphis (AAA) roster.
Today's moves put the number of players on the team's 40-man roster at 36 and the team now has 48 players remaining in Major League camp.
