Cards reveal 28-game Spring Training schedule

The Cardinals on Tuesday announced their Spring Training schedule, a 28-game slate that includes 17 games at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Fla.

St. Louis pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to Florida on Feb. 17 and conduct their first workout the following day. The rest of the team is scheduled to report on Feb. 22 and take part in their first workout on Feb. 23.

The Cards will play 14 home games and 14 road dates, although that figure includes three games as the "visiting" team at Roger Dean Stadium, the spring home they share with the Marlins. Each of the Cardinals' home games are scheduled to start at 1:05 p.m. ET.

Cardinals Spring Training schedule

On March 2, the Cards will host an exhibition game against Florida Atlantic University at Roger Dean Stadium. The Cardinals' Grapefruit League opener will take place on March 3 against the Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium. St. Louis and Miami will meet seven times this spring.

Before heading to Pittsburgh for their regular-season opener against the Pirates, the Cards will wrap up Grapefruit League play against the Yankees in Tampa, Fla., on March 31.

The Cardinals' home schedule this spring includes eight opponents, including two 2015 postseason teams. The Mets will visit Roger Dean Stadium twice (March 7 and March 28) and the Astros will come to town on March 12.

Individual Spring Training tickets for games in Jupiter will go on sale on Jan. 16. Fans can purchase Cardinals Spring Training tickets in person at Roger Dean Stadium beginning at 9 a.m. ET, or at cardinals.com or rogerdeanstadium.com at 10 a.m. ET. Full-season spring tickets are on sale now.
