Chen will start third game of season for O's

FORT MYERS Fla. -- Wei-Yin Chen will start the Orioles' third game of the season against the Boston Red Sox, manager Buck Showalter announced on Tuesday.

Chen will follow Opening Day starter Chris Tillman and Ubaldo Jimenez. Miguel Gonzalez and Bud Norris will start the fourth and fifth games in Detroit, although the order has not been decided.

Chen pitched on Monday in a Minor League game, and he's coming off a 2013 season in which he went 7-7 with a 4.07 ERA in 23 starts. He is 19-18 with a 4.04 ERA in 55 career games.
