Colon, Mortensen win June Minor League honors

CLEVELAND -- Christian Colon, now with the parent Kansas City club, was named Triple-A Omaha's Player of the Month for June, and right-hander Clayton Mortensen was named Pitcher of the Month.

The top player and pitcher, respectively, for the other farm clubs:

Double-A Northwest Arkansas: outfielder Lane Adams and right-hander Andrew Ferguson; Class A Advanced Wilmington: third baseman Hunter Dozier and right-hander Christian Binford; Class A Lexington: third baseman Mauricio Ramos and right-hander Jake Junis; Rookie League Idaho Falls: first baseman Ryan O'Hearn and right-hander Jake Newberry; Rookie League Burlington: first baseman Brandon Dulin and right-hander Nik Stephenson; Rookie League Dominican: second baseman Offerman Collado and left-hander Reinaldo Cepin.
