Cubs Announce 2013 Spring Training Schedule
The Chicago Cubs today announced their Spring Training schedule for the 2013 season. The club is currently scheduled to play 17 home games at HoHoKam Park and 16 Cactus League road games in addition to two exhibition games in Las Vegas.
The Cubs begin their 2013 Cactus League schedule Saturday, February 23 against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in Tempe. The Cubs play their home opener on Sunday, February 24 against the San Francisco Giants.
The Cubs will also make their annual trip to Las Vegas for a two-game series (March 16-17 vs. Texas) and will also play one home night game at HoHoKam Park (March 26 vs. Cincinnati). Any additional exhibition games will be announced when established.
The Cubs close out their spring in Arizona on Thursday, March 28 vs. the Seattle Mariners at HoHoKam Park. The Cubs and White Sox play twice next spring – Thursday, March 7 at HoHoKam Park and Friday, March 15 in Glendale
Individual game tickets for the 2013 Chicago Cubs home spring training games at HoHoKam Park will go on sale Friday, January 4 at 10 a.m. CT on www.cubs.com or by calling 1-800-905-3315. The ticket box office at HoHoKam Park will open for the sale of individual game tickets beginning Tuesday, January 15 at 9 a.m. MT.
Season tickets at HoHoKam Park go on sale Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 9 a.m. MT and group tickets go on sale Friday, January 4, 2013 at 9 a.m. MT at the HoHoKam box office or by calling 480-964-4467.
