D-backs reach deals with 15 picks from Draft

HOUSTON -- The D-backs announced Wednesday that they've agreed to terms with 15 of their 42 picks from the 2014 First-Year Player Draft.

Marcus Wilson and Isan Diaz, who were selected No. 69 and No. 70 in the Competitive Balance Rounds, will begin their Minor League careers in the Arizona League.

Brent Jones (fourth round), Zac Curtis (sixth round), Tyler Humphreys (round 7), Grant Heyman (eighth round) and Justin Gonzalez (ninth round) all agreed to terms with the D-backs as well. They'll be sent to short-season Hillsboro to play for the Hops.

Holden Helmink (12th round), Tyler Baker (15th round), Daniel Savas (19th round), Gerard Hernandez (21st round), Mike Cetta (24th round), Nick Baker (29th round), Will Landsheft (36th round) and Lawrence Pardo (38th round) all came to terms with the club as well.
