D'backs Select Cory Hahn in MLB Draft

Back in April, the Arizona Diamondbacks visited us at the MLB Fan Cave. During that visit we met D'backs team President and CEO Derrick Hall. Not only does he have the best last name ever, Hall was simply a very cool dude. So the latest move by the franchise doesn't surprise me one bit.

In the 2013 MLB Draft, Arizona selected Cory Hahn out of nearby Arizona State University. In February 2011, Hahn became paralyzed after a head-first slide. Since then he has acted as a student-coach at ASU. To make the gesture a bit more memorable, Hahn, who wore #34 at ASU, was selected in the 34th round.

Classy move by a classy organization.
