Deadline approaches for Comerica Bank $10,000 Grand Slam Grant
Applications for baseball/softball grant program due by 5:00 p.m. on February 10
WHAT: Comerica Bank’s $10,000 Grand Slam Grant
WHO: Public high schools in Comerica’s markets of Southeast Michigan and Central/West Michigan are eligible.
WHEN: Deadline to apply is Friday, February 10 at 5:00 p.m.
WHERE: Grant recipients will be recognized during a special pregame ceremony at Comerica Park during the opening weekend game on Saturday, April 7.
WHY: The deadline is quickly approaching for schools to apply for Comerica Bank’s $10,000 Grand Slam Grant to create, expand or improve a public high school baseball or softball program.
This year, Comerica will award two $10,000 grants – one in metro Detroit and one in the Central/West Michigan region.
The funds can be used for field improvements, equipment, training camps, or other baseball or softball-related expenses.
NOTE: Eligible schools can complete the grant application online at www.comerica.com/grandslamgrant. Once complete, the application, along with supporting materials such as photos or videos must be submitted via email to grandslamgrant@comerica.com by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 10.
