Delta Air Lines and the Atlanta Braves Create New Partnership for SunTrust Park

The Delta SKY360 Club Will Open at SunTrust Park in 2017

The Atlanta Braves and Delta Air Lines have agreed to a new partnership beginning in 2017 in SunTrust Park. The relationship between the Braves and Delta dates back to 1966, when the club arrived in Atlanta.

As part of the agreement, Delta will be the exclusive sponsor of the Delta SKY360 Club, a new premium hospitality area in SunTrust Park. The brand will also be highlighted at multiple points inside the ballpark - including an iconic sign above the out of town scoreboard. Also, the popular Delta Medallion Parking Lot will be available to fans at SunTrust Park.

In addition to their gameday activations, Delta will have a presence in the surrounding mixed-use development and will continue to be the charter airline for the Braves organization.

"We have been extremely proud to call Delta Air Lines a partner for the last 50 seasons and look forward to 50 more," said Derek Schiller, Braves executive vice president of sales and marketing. "Like the Braves, Delta is an Atlanta institution and the partnership we share is a real point of pride for our organization. We are honored that the partnership will continue and we look forward to welcoming fans into the Delta SKY360 Club on Opening Day of 2017."

The Delta SKY360 Club, an 18,000 square foot hospitality club, will feature state of the art technology layered with rich natural materials. Some key elements include dramatic walnut ceilings with custom fixtures and memorabilia displays. The club will offer an exceptional dining experience featuring two active display kitchens, a 30-foot long feature bar with marble slab top and a more casual sports bar that features two seven-foot by 20-foot LED video boards.

Two premium seating sections totaling approximately 1,500 seats and located between the dugouts on the lower level will have access to the club. Those seats will feature wide, high-back upholstered padded seats and include in-seat service with all inclusive food, beer and wine and premium parking.

"The Atlanta Braves are precisely the type of winning organization Delta seeks to do business with," said Tim Mapes, Delta senior vice president of Marketing. "For 50 years, we have been proud to support the Braves and their fans throughout Braves country, and that pride will be evident in Delta's exciting presence at the new SunTrust Park."

SunTrust Park is being developed by the Braves in partnership with the Cobb-Marietta Coliseum and Exhibit Hall Authority and will be completed by Opening Day 2017. Located in Atlanta at the intersection of I-75 and I-285 in the bustling Cumberland CID, SunTrust Park will flow directly into the surrounding development, creating a vibrant atmosphere with unique shops, restaurants, offices, residences and entertainment venues that are accessible 365 days a year.
