Mattingly welcomes birth of fourth son

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers manager Don Mattingly and wife Lori are the proud parents of Louis Riley Mattingly, born Saturday in Indiana.

Louis Riley, who shares his birth date with Dodgers Hall of Fame announcer Vin Scully, is Mattingly's fourth son. Older brother Preston, a former Dodgers farmhand, is now playing basketball at Lamar University.

The newest Mattingly checked in at 20 inches and 7 1/2 pounds.
