This year, the Dodgers partnered with the offices of Senator Kevin de León, Councilmember Gil Cedillo, Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell and Assemblymember Jimmy Gomez for the 10th annual Community Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway and each office selected organizations in their respective districts to benefit. Turkeys and fixings are also being provided to pre-selected students in the Dodgers' "Community of Schools," a strategic community partnership to improve the education and wellness of children attending local schools (all Title I) and living in communities surrounding Dodger Stadium. LADF grantees who serve needy kids and families were also pre-selected to receive turkeys and fixings. Additional community organizations will include: Affordable Living for the Aging, Boyle Heights Technology Center, Bresee, Echo Park Recreation Center, El Centro de Pueblo, Inner City Struggle, Ramona Gardens Public Housing Community and Visionary Youth Center.

"Ralphs and Food 4 Less are committed to helping year round in the fight against hunger in the communities we serve," said Kendra Doyle, Ralphs/Food 4 Less Senior Manager of Community Affairs. "We hope these efforts will help make the holidays a little brighter for those in need."

Volunteers from the Dodgers and Ralphs/Food 4 Less will be on hand to distribute Thanksgiving goods in lot P at Dodger Stadium, 1000 Elysian Park Avenue, located inside the Sunset Gate at the Top of the Park, starting at 2:00 p.m. Opening remarks will be given by LADF Executive Director Nichol Whiteman. Levy Restaurants will provide lunch for all volunteers tomorrow.
