Season tickets available again on limited basis
High demand for seats leads Dodgers to reintroduce ticket deal
The Dodgers have reintroduced season ticket sales on an extremely limited basis after halting sales earlier this week because of unprecedented high demand.
With Dodgers FanFest scheduled to begin Saturday afternoon at Dodger Stadium, vice president of ticket sales David Siegel said it was important to again make season tickets available for purchase.
"Season seat sales were temporarily halted on Wednesday because we had exceeded our supply of seats originally earmarked for season sale," Siegel said in a release. "After carefully evaluating the supply and our commitments, we made a determination to reintroduce season ticket packages with full season seat holder benefits, including full postseason rights.
"We have re-opened areas where we feel we can now sell without greatly hindering individual sales and postseason requirements. We are making the tickets available for a wide range of budgets with prices between $12-$140 per ticket."
The Dodgers drew 3,743,527 in home attendance last year, an average of 46,216 that was the largest by far in Major League Baseball. The total was the fourth highest in club history.
