Dodgers take on Cincinnati in a three-game series starting Monday

LOS ANGELES - The Dodgers' fourth homestand of the season begins with a three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds Monday, May 26 at 5:10 p.m. and at 7:10 p.m., Tuesday, May 27 and Wednesday, May 28. Auto gates open at 2:30 p.m. and all stadium gates open at 3:00 p.m. Monday. All auto gates open at 4:30 p.m. and all stadium gates open at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fans are encouraged to vote for Dodgers Dee Gordon, A.J. Ellis, Andre Ethier, Matt Kemp, Yasiel Puig, Hanley Ramirez and Juan Uribe for the 85th All-Star Game, which will be held Tuesday, July 15 at Target Field in Minneapolis. Fans can vote for All-Star starters up to 25 times exclusively at MLB.com and all 30 Club web sites - online or via their mobile devices - with the 2014 All-Star Game MLB.com Ballot Sponsored by Experian. MLB's All-Star Balloting Program is the largest of its kind in professional sports, with the last two years representing the two highest totals in balloting history, including a record 40.2 million ballots cast in 2012. In-stadium balloting at Dodger Stadium continues through June 18, presented by Firestone. In addition to being on the All-Star ballot, Puig is among the 10 National Leaguers featured in the Home Run Derby Fan Poll. Fans will have the opportunity to select three players in each League who they would most like to see participate in the Home Run Derby. The Fan Poll also will be available online at MLB.com.

Monday is Memorial Day and the Dodgers, along with all of MLB, will pay tribute to those who have died in service to our nation. MLB and the Dodgers will join the National Moment of Remembrance, an initiative the league has supported since 1997, when all games will pause for a moment of silence. The Dodgers will wear specially-designed caps and jerseys featuring an authentic military digital camouflage design licensed from the United States Marine Corps in honor of Memorial Day. The Memorial Day effort is part of MLB's ongoing recognition of veterans, active military and military families.

MLB has committed more than $30 million to Welcome Back Veterans (www.welcomebackveterans.org) since its inception in 2008. MLB and MLB Advanced Media will donate 100% of its net proceeds from sales of the US-based clubs' caps and jerseys to Welcome Back Veterans as part of its contribution to the program. Welcome Back Veterans, an initiative of Major League Baseball Charities and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, provides grants to university hospitals throughout the country that provide post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) treatment to veterans and their families in a public/private partnership. Currently, Welcome Back Veterans is funding programs at various hospitals, including UCLA. These institutions are developing new programs and strategies to improve the quality, quantity and access to PTSD and TBI treatment for veterans, particularly those returning from duty in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance Monday will receive a BBQ apron presented by Farmer John. Memorial pre-game ceremonies will include flag unveiling in center field along with six stars representing each U.S. military branch, Marines, Navy, Army, Air Force and Coast Guard as well as Prisoners of War (POW). Wives of service members who died in service of our nation will officially begin the game with "It's time for Dodger baseball!" and children of these families will be amongst the children who partake in Kids Take the Field Monday. Roy Gleason will throw the first pitch on Memorial Day. Gleason played in eight games for the Dodgers in 1963 with one official at-bat before being drafted by the military. Gleason served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was awarded a Purple Heart. Gleason returned to the Dodgers farm system, but due to his war injuries did not reach the Major Leagues. The national anthem and "God Bless America" will be performed by U.S. Coast Guard MK2 Mike Dalager and the U.S. Army will provide the color guard. A DJ will provide entertainment prior to the game in the right-field pavilion plaza.

The Veteran of the Game presented by Bank of America is U.S. Navy Quarterman (QM1) Luis Villegas. Villegas enlisted in 2004 and currently serves onboard the USS Essex. His deployments have been in support for Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom and his accolades include four Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals. In honor Memorial Day, Bank of America will be presenting a special flag and display case to Villegas. Navy Veteran Sean Gass, who serves as Bank of America Vice President, Senior Financial Advisor at Bank of America- Merrill Lynch, will be on hand for the presentation.
