ShopRite is a proud sponsor of the Phillies and a longtime friend to Philabundance, the largest hunger relief organization in the Delaware Valley.  Through its ShopRite Partners In Caring program, ShopRite donates more than $3 million annually to food banks, such as Philabundance, throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.

ShopRite is also one of the many Phillies partners taking part in the Phans Feeding Families month-long initiative, aimed to help raise money and collect food to feed the 900,000 people in the Delaware Valley that are at risk of hunger each year.  For more information, please visit www.phillies.com/feedingfamilies.

“ShopRite is proud to partner with the Phillies to address one of the most important issues facing us today – that of hunger in our communities,” said Christine Magyarits, spokeswoman for ShopRite Partners In Caring.  “We are dedicated to this cause and since 1999 have donated more than $2 million to Philabundance through our ShopRite Partners In Caring program.”

“ShopRite continues to prove that they are a great partner in helping families in need," said Dave Buck, Phillies Senior Vice President of Marketing & Advertising Sales. “Based on last year’s results, we are confident that, once again, we will make a significant impact through the support of ShopRite and the many fans who get involved in this unique food drive.”

“ShopRite and the ShopRite Partners in Caring program are amazing longtime supporters of Philabundance and the fight against hunger,” said Bill Clark, president and executive director of Philabundance. “Without partners like ShopRite, Philabundance would not be able to fulfill our mission and help feed 65,000 people each week.”
