Chase Utley Announced as Next Inductee to Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame

Earlier today, Phillies Managing Partner and CEO John Middleton officially announced that Chase Utley, the club’s all-time greatest second baseman, has been selected as the 2026 Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame inductee, one of the two most prestigious honors bestowed by the organization.

Utley, a six-time All-Star and four-time Silver Slugger winner, was a crucial member of one of the greatest runs in the team’s 143-year history.

The induction ceremony will take place on Friday, August 7, prior to the 6:45 p.m. game against the Toronto Blue Jays, and will be the leadoff event to Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend at Citizens Bank Park.

Following his induction ceremony, Utley will become the third player of the 2008 World Championship team to join the Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame, located in the Left Field Plaza behind the scoreboard building. Click here to see a listing of past Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame inductees.
