Player’s Favorite Things Basket Auction
An annual event on the concourse during an Orioles’ home game, the “Player’s Favorite Things” Basket Auction is the most exciting auction of the year. Over the past three years, these baskets, put together by the player’s wives, have raised more than $30,000 for local charities and helped Orioles fans far and wide learn a little bit more about their favorite players.
The Orioles Charitable Foundation and the Orioles Family Program are thrilled to take the Favorite Things Basket Auction virtual this year. Take a look at some of the unique items you can bid on to benefit the Baltimore community. Place your bids at Orioles.com/Auction. Bidding ends Monday, September 7, at 10 pm.
This year’s beneficiary is Living Classrooms. Founded in Baltimore in 1985, Living Classrooms Foundation is a Baltimore-Washington, D.C., nonprofit that disrupts the cycle of poverty and helps our community become safer, stronger, and healthier by meeting individuals where they are and building skills for life. Living Classrooms inspires children, youth, and adults to achieve their potential through hands-on education, workforce development, health and wellness, and violence prevention programming.
