Phillies Volunteers and IBX Blue Crew Serve Love and Smiles at Ronald McDonald House

The Phillies and the IBX Blue Crew kicked off their 2026 Give Back volunteer season with a whole lot of love.

More than 200 families whose children are receiving special care at local hospitals were served a special Valentine’s Day dinner, prepared and served by IBX and Phillies front office volunteers, as part of Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia’s “Served with Love” program.

The volunteers from both organizations arrived early to set up the Valentine’s Day décor and prepare for dinner service. They also hosted arts and crafts, games and giveaways for all the attending families.

Plus, the Phillie Phanatic stopped by to bring an extra serving of joy.

The event was a continuation of the Phillies & IBX Give Back initiative, featuring monthly volunteer and community engagement efforts across the region.

Ronald McDonald House Philadelphia’s “Served With Love” program, which is presented by Independence Blue Cross, brings groups of volunteers into the Chestnut Street House kitchen to prep and serve meals for more than 250 guests staying with the organization while their children receive critical medical care.
