Scenes from Phillies Wives Save a Pet at the Park
What a fun night for fans on Friday, August 22, during the Phillies game against the Washington Nationals! The Phillies Wives partnered with the Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA) to host “Save a Pet at the Park” at the First Base Plaza, giving fans the opportunity to adopt a cat or dog during the game. Fans embraced the animals with open arms, bringing heartwarming energy to Citizens Bank Park.
The event featured signed Mystery Balls for sale, along with opportunities for fans to donate pet toys and treats, and new or gently used blankets, to support animals in need. The night’s Phillies Charities 50/50 raffle benefitted the PSPCA, as did the Phillies Auction which remains open until August 31. All donations and proceeds will go directly toward helping animals in PSPCA.
Adding to the excitement, all the adoptable animals were named after Phillies Players like Bryson Spot and Brandog Marsh. This made the event even more memorable for fans.
It was a great night for fans at Citizens Bank Park. Fans not only enjoyed the Phillies game but also supported the Phillies Wives Save a Pet at the Park event which helped cats and dogs find their forever home.
