Delaware North Sportservice Features New Food Items at 2014 All Star Game
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (July 11, 2014) - Delaware North Sportservice, the food and retail provider at Target Field, and the Minnesota Twins are introducing four new food items for the 2014 Major League Baseball All-Star Events.
"The newest additions to our already exciting menu include even more local flavors and an exclusive opportunity for guests," said Pete Spike, Sportservice general manager at Target Field. "Guests at this year's All-Star Events will get to sample some of the best Minnesota products, created especially for this occasion."
Additional Menu Items for the 2014 MLB All-Star Events include:
Double Header - A brat and a Polish sausage with all the fixings, served on a foot-long bun, and branded with the All-Star Game logo. Located at all Kramarczuk sausages locations.
Bigger, Better, Burger, Brat, or Bacon Bloody Mary - The popular loaded Bloody Mary is served with choice of grilled burger, brat, or bacon on a stick. It comes with 8 oz Bud Light "snit." Located in section 114.
Brat Dog - A brat stuffed with a hot dog served on a foot-long pretzel bun. Located at Hrbek's in section 114.
The Hangover Burger - A fresh-grilled burger topped with a fried egg and served on a roll, branded with the All-Star Game logo. Located at the Town Ball Tavern.
The new menu items supplement Minnesota's popular staples and fan favorite concessions. For 2014 MLB All-Star Events, Sportservice expects to serve:
- 2,000 lbs of peanuts
- 400 portions of Walleye
- 1,000 lbs of ground hamburger beef prepared
- 1500 orders of French fries prepared
- 700 BBQ Rib Tips
- 1200 Steak Sandwiches
Additionally, Sportservice and the Twins are offering an exclusive "Dine Around" program, which provides a special value at only $48. The program features:
- A choice of one Big Dog, Kramarczuk's or Sheboygan Sausage
- One order of Butcher and the Boar BBQ Rib Tips
