Romero, Giants reportedly agree to Minors deal

Free-agent pitcher Ricky Romero has reportedly agreed to a Minor League deal with the Giants, according to CBSSports.com.

Romero, who has spent his entire five-year big league career with Toronto and last pitched for the Blue Jays in 2013, is 51-45 lifetime with a 4.16 ERA. CBSSports.com reported that Romero will report to extended spring camp.

The 30-year-old left-hander, who debuted in 2009, went 0-2 with an 11.05 ERA in four games (two starts) for Toronto in 2013, and he was derailed by elbow and knee issues.
