Giants welcome Rockies, Padres and Diamondbacks to town
Homestand features: Little League & Pony League Youth All-Star Champions, Fan Appreciation Day, Pablo Sandoval Gnome and Oktoberfest.
SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The San Francisco Giants return to AT&T Park for their final regular season homestand against their division rivals, the Colorado Rockies, September 17-20, the San Diego Padres September 21-23, and the Arizona Diamondbacks, September 25-27.
Monday, September 17, the Giants will host Korean Heritage Night. Special event ticket holders will receive a Giants-themed Korean Fan. Fans will be able to enjoy Korean cultural performances on the field prior to the game. In addition, the Giants will be celebrating Hall of Famer, Orlando Cepeda’s 75th Birthday.
On Monday, the Giants will honor the 2013 Pony Mustang World Series Champions Blossom Valley All-Stars from San Jose before the game. Fans will receive a 2012 PostSeason Viewer’s Guide, presented by Major League Baseball.
Tuesday, September 18, the Giants will be celebrating Irish Heritage at AT&T Park. A pre-game festival will take place in Seals Plaza from 5-7pm. Prior to the game, fans can enjoy on the field entertainment, which will include Irish dancers and pipers. All special event ticket holders will receive an Irish Heritage Night knit hat.
It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Chronicle Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts.
Wednesday, September 19, is Polynesian Heritage Night at AT&T Park. The special event ticket package includes admission to the pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5-7pm and a Polynesian Heritage Night Tiki mug. On this night, the Giants will also welcome the Petaluma National Little League All-Stars who finished second in the nation and third in the world during the Little League World Series.
On Thursday, September 20, the first 30,000 fans will receive a Rally Rag, presented by “The Melt”.
Friday, September 21, the San Diego Padres come to the Shores of McCovey Cove for a three-game series. That night is African American Heritage Night. All special event ticket holders will receive an African American Heritage Night T-Shirt. Fans will be able to enjoy African American cultural performances on the field before the game.
Prior to the game on Friday, the 2012 “Willie Mac Award” will be presented to the most inspirational player on the team, as voted by Giants players, coaches and training staff.
Saturday, September 22, the first 25,000 fans will receive a Pablo Sandoval Gnome presented by AAA.
Sunday, September 23, is Fan Appreciation Day. Prizes will be given away throughout the game with the grand prize, a Toyota Prius Plug-in, being announced following the game. The first 40,000 fans will receive a San Francisco Giants cheer card.
Also on Sunday, the Giants will host their second "Off the Cove" event of the season, in partnership with food truck specialists, “Off The Grid”. Special event ticket holders will have access to the pre-game food truck festival on Terry Francois Blvd. starting at 10:30am and will also receive an Off the Cove-themed item.
In addition on Sunday, all kids14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases following the game, presented by See’s Candies.
The Giants wrap up their final regular season homestand with a three-game series against the Arizona Diamondbacks, September 25-27.
On Tuesday, September 25, The World Baseball Classic press event will be held across McCovey Cove from AT&T Park at China Basin Park at 1:30pm.
The first 15,000 fans in attendance on Tuesday will receive World Baseball Classic Magnets.
Wednesday, September 26, the Giants will host Oktoberfest at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders can enjoy a pre-game party in Seals Plaza starting at 4:30pm and will receive a special-edition Giants Oktoberfest themed item.
