Giants unveil "What's New" for the 2015 season at AT&T Park

The Giants held their annual Media Open House at AT&T Park today to unveil "what's new" at AT&T Park for the 2015 season - covering everything from promotions and giveaways to culinary offerings to technological enhancements to capital improvements.

When the Giants begin their 16th season at AT&T Park on Monday, April 13, they will raise their third World Champions pennant in five years. The first 40,000 fans will receive a replica pennant presented by Bank of America. Opening Week will feature giveaways highlighting the 2014 Championship season. This includes a Madison Bumgarner Postseason MVP Bobblehead presented by AAA to the first 40,000 fans on Tuesday, April 14; a Giants World Champions Snow Globe presented by Comcast SportsNet to the first 30,000 fans on Wednesday, April 15; a Giants World Champions Calendar presented by AT&T to the first 40,000 fans on Thursday, April 16; and Fireworks Night presented by Hanwha on Friday, April 17. On Saturday, April 18, the 2014 team will receive their 2014 World Championship Rings during a pre-game ring ceremony presented by Tiffany & Co. The first 40,000 fans receive a replica ring courtesy of AT&T. On Sunday, April 19, the first 7,500 kids, 14 and under will receive a World Champions Drawstring Backpack presented by See's Candies.

"We are excited to kick off the 2015 season and to defend the title for the third time in five years," said Giants President and CEO Larry Baer. "We have the best fans in all of baseball and we are thrilled to welcome more than 30,500 season ticket members - the largest number in franchise history - to AT&T Park this year. We've had a short, but busy off season making upgrades to the ballpark and enhancing our menu offerings and I know our fans are as excited as we are to raise the championship pennant on April 13 and to get this season underway."

The Giants will hold a number of special anniversary events including the celebration of Frank Sinatra's 100th Birthday on May 7; Bruce Lee's 75th Birthday on July 7; and Grateful Dead Tribute Night commemorating the group's 50th Anniversary on August 13. The Giants will hold their first LEGO® Day at AT&T Park on September 12 where a life-sized LEGO model of a Giants player will be constructed at the park.

Adjacent to and completing the recently opened Garden in centerfield, fans will find new, permanent concession stands, creating a lower centerfield food court and a mecca of ballpark favorites. The concession stands include a second location for Tony's Slice House featuring New York style cheese and pepperoni pizza from 11-time World Champion Pizza Champ Tony Gemignani, a new Doggie Diner Grill with display cooking and a Gilroy Garlic Fries stand. In addition, the food stands in The Garden will offer foods made without gluten containing ingredients and fresh vegetarian choices.

In-park, fans will notice a new centerfield LED display board located directly beneath the Mitsubishi DiamondVision scoreboard. This 38' wide x 13' high board will display messages, birthday greetings, announcements, fan features and other game related content.

The revamped MLB.com Ballpark app will make it easier than ever to access and manage tickets on a smart phone; upgrade seats; connect with the Giants social media accounts; and order in-seat food delivery, including whole pizzas from Tony's Slice House.

New corporate partnerships, which will continue to enhance the fan experience, include CLEAR®, which will allow Fast Access members to bypass magnetometers and enter AT&T Park at the touch of a finger. Lyft, the official rideshare partner of the Giants will offer fans special rates and travel options to and from AT&T Park.
