Giants welcome Angels, Padres and Marlins to town

Homestand features: World Champions T-Shirt, Metallica Day and Hunter Pence 'Fence Catch' bobblehead

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The 2014 World Champion San Francisco Giants return home for a 10-game homestand against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (May 1-3), San Diego Padres (May 4-6) and the Miami Marlins (May 7-10).

Friday, May 1, is Golf Night at AT&T Park. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a collector's edition 2014 World Champions Giants Ball Marker and Divot Repair Tool. Partial proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit the non-profits in the golf community.

On Saturday, May 2, the Giants will host their third annual Metallica Day. Special event ticket holders will receive a 2014 World Champions Giants/Metallica beanie and Metallica/Giants trading cards. Members of the band will be in attendance to perform the National Anthem and throw out the first pitch. Proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit Glide Memorial and St. Anthony's. The first 20,000 fan in attendance will receive a Giants World Champions T-Shirt, presented by StubHub. The team will also wear their new black alternate jersey when they take the field on this day.

A special silent auction will also be held on Saturday, May 2, at the Community Clubhouse featuring the two ESP guitars that Metallica's James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett will use for the National Anthem. Proceeds will benefit the Giants Community Fund, St. Anthony's and Glide Memorial.

Sunday, May 3, is Little League Day at AT&T Park. Prior to the game, little leaguers who purchased special event tickets will be able to attend a Q&A session with current Giants players and coaches and participate in a parade around the warning track. The first 7,500 fans ages 14-and-under will receive a Buster Posey Bank, presented by Toyota. Following the game, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases, presented by See's Candies.

On Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, Marty Lurie and Patrick Connor will broadcast live from the patio at Public House, leading up to the Giants pre-game show on KNBR 680.

On Tuesday, May 5, the Giants will celebrate Cinco de Mayo at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will receive access to the pre-game Cinco de Mayo fiesta in Seals Plaza from 5:00-7:00 p.m., as well as a limited edition Cinco de Mayo themed Giants t-shirt. Prior to the game, entertainment including salsa dancing and a mariachi band will take place on the field.

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Yahoo! Sports Talk Live, Giants Pregame Live, and Giants Postgame Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts. The first 500 fans who come to Willie Mays Plaza and get in line at the Comcast SportsNet tent will receive a blanket.

On Thursday, May 7 the Giants will celebrate Frank Sinatra's 100th Birthday. Sinatra was a frequent guest of the San Francisco Giants at Candlestick Park and a friend of Willie Mays and Willie McCovey. Fans who purchase a special event ticket will receive a limited edition Frank Sinatra/Giants commemorative t-shirt. Fans also have the opportunity to purchase a VIP special event ticket, which will give them access to the Virgin America Club Level from 5:15-7:15 p.m. for the pre-game VIP reception and Q&A panel with members of the Sinatra family. VIP special event ticket holders will also receive a commemorative Frank Sinatra/Giants t-shirt, as well as a set of Sinatra 100th Birthday "rocks glasses". Entertainment themed around Sinatra and his legendary music will take place throughout the game for all fans to enjoy.

Friday, May 8 is Filipino Heritage night at AT&T Park. Special event ticket holders will receive a collector's edition Bobblehead of Filipino-American, Tim Lincecum, commemorating his second career no-hitter on June 25, 2014 against the Padres. Prior to the game, cultural entertainment will be taking place on-field. Proceeds from all special event ticket sales will benefit local cultural non-profits.

On Saturday, May 9, the Giants will host Superheroes and Comics Night, presented by Adobe. Special event ticket holders will receive a collector's edition Superhero themed Giants t-shirt, designed from the creative direction of renowned comic book artist, J. Scott Campbell. Fans also have the opportunity to purchase a VIP special event ticket, which will give them access to the exclusive pre-game party in Triples Alley from 3:35-5:35 p.m., where Stan Lee will be on hand sharing his knowledge and stories from his career in the comic industry. VIP special event ticket holders will also receive complimentary food and beverage, a Superheroes and Comics themed t-shirt and a limited edition Stan Lee bobblehead with a soundchip. A portion of proceeds from each special event ticket sold will benefit local non-profits in the community.

The first 40,000 fans in attendance on Saturday, May 9 will receive a Hunter Pence 'Fence Catch' Bobblehead, presented by PG&E.

On Sunday, May 10, the first 20,000 fans will receive a Mother's Day-Giants World Champions Infinity Scarf, presented by Dreyer's Grand Ice Cream. The Giants will also raise awareness for Genentech's Strike Out Cancer program which benefits the Cancer Support Community. Little Leaguers who purchased a special event ticket will also be at the park on Sunday. They will attend a Q&A session with current Giants players and coaches and participate in a parade around the warning track, prior to the game. Additionally, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases following the game, presented by See's Candies.
