Giants welcome Dodgers and Mets to town

Homestand features: Giants trading cards, Firefighter Appreciation Night and Cancer Awareness Night

SAN FRANCISCO, CA. - The World Champion San Francisco Giants return to AT&T Park for a six-game homestand against the Los Angeles Dodgers, July 5-7 and the New York Mets, July 8-10. 

On Saturday, July 6, the first 25,000 fans will receive a Drawstring Backpack, presented by MLB Network. The first 10,000 fans 14 and younger will also receive "The Night Before Baseball" book, presented by Vaska. This book is the joyful tale of a young boy's baseball fantasy. The 32 page children's picture book will also be available exclusively at Giants Dugout Stores for fans who are unable to make it to the game. 

Prior to the game on Saturday, fans are invited to watch the Giants' Family Softball game, where the children of players and coaches will take the field.

The first 20,000 fans in attendance on Sunday, July 7, will receive Giants Trading Cards, presented by Chevron. Following the game on Sunday, all kids 14-years and younger are invited to come run the bases, presented by See's Candies.

It's also KNBR's Weekends in the Park on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7. Marty Lurie and Patrick Connor will broadcast live from the patio at Public House, leading up to Giants Pregame Show on KNBR 680.

On Monday, July 8, the New York Mets come to the Shores of McCovey Cove for a three-game series.

Monday, July 8, is Firefighter Appreciation Night at AT&T Park, presented by AAA. Prior to the game, local firefighters will be honored in a home plate ceremony. The special event ticket package includes access to the pre-game party in Seals Plaza from 5pm-7pm and a limited edition Firefighter-themed Giants Hat. Proceeds from each special event ticket sold will be donated to The California Fire Foundation and the SFFD Toy Program.

Tuesday, July 9, is the second annual Night for Cancer Awareness, presented by the Giants organization and Giants alum, Dave Dravecky. Special event ticket holders will receive a limited edition Dave Dravecky Jersey T-Shirt. Proceeds from each special event ticket sold will be donated directly to Dravecky's non-profit, Endurance, to aid in cancer research efforts. Prior to the game, Dave Dravecky will be honored in a home plate ceremony.

It is also Say Hey Tuesday as CSN Bay Area will host Yahoo! Sports Talk Live from Willie Mays Plaza. Fans are invited to come out early and watch their favorite sports analysts.

On Wednesday, July 10, the first 10,000 kids will receive Big League Minis, presented by Topps. Following the game on Wednesday, the Giants will host their annual Slumber Party on the field, presented by AT&T.
