Cleveland Indians announce Great Lakes Brewing Co. and Dynomite Burgers will serve popular food at Progressive Field in 2015

Popular local restaurants join Melt, Barrio, Sweet Moses in newly renovated Right Field District at ballpark

Cleveland, OH-The Cleveland Indians announced on Wednesday that Great Lakes Brewing Co. and Dynomite Burgers will serve their unique food and beverages at Progressive Field in 2015.

Great Lakes and Dynomite join the previously announced Melt, Barrio and Sweet Moses in the newly renovated Right Field District, which will provide a dramatically enhanced fan experience at the ballpark made possible in large part by the club's partners at Delaware North.

Their additions continue the club's long-standing commitment to working with local food-service providers & producers, including Pierre's Ice Cream, Sugardale Hot Dogs, Smucker's, Shearer's Snacks , Schwebel's breads, Mitchell's ice cream and the world famous Bertman Ballpark Mustard.

"We're proud to partner with two more Cleveland-based restaurants, adding to our long history of working with local companies," Indians Vice President of Concessions Kurt Schloss said. "Our partnership with Delaware North and our local restaurants continues to provide variety and value to our Cleveland fans."

Great Lakes' options will include its popular pretzel and sausage offerings - the Brewer's Barley pretzels made from spent brewer's grain, and the Dortmunder Gold bratwurst, served with onions, peppers, and Bertman Ballpark Mustard. Several of Great Lakes' award-winning lagers and ales will be on tap, including year-round favorites, seasonals and rotating pub exclusive selections such as the baseball-themed Rally Drum Red Ale.

"We're excited to offer our beer and food to Tribe fans and be a part of the exciting things the Indians have going on, both on and off the field. Cleveland's our hometown and the Indians are our hometeam, so this is a perfect partnership in our eyes," said Great Lakes co-founder Patrick Conway.

Dynomite will provide fans with a new burger option in the ballpark and offer fans its signature milkshakes, made with ice cream from Cleveland's Pierre's Ice Cream Co. Its selection will include the Parallax (bacon and BBQ mayo), Cowell and Hubbard (mozzarella and smoked paprika mayo), L'Albatros (caramelized onions and red peppers) and Chinato (balsamic red onions and mortadella) burgers.

"We're proud to be an anchor in Cleveland and join with another Cleveland institution," said well-known Cleveland restaurateur Zack Bruell. "We're looking forward to Tribe fans experiencing our unique burgers and shakes."

Great Lakes and Dynomite join Melt, Barrio and Sweet Moses - announced in January -- in the new Right Field District. Melt will offer five of its signature grilled cheese offerings, while Barrio will offer its fresh, flavorful tacos and nachos that have become a popular destination in Tremont, Lakewood and now Downtown Cleveland. Sweet Moses will offer its delicious homemade ice cream sundaes and treats.

The right field renovations at Progressive Field continue, and when completed, will offer fans a new gateway to East Ninth Street and downtown Cleveland, with dramatic new internal and external views, closer access to players in relocated bullpens, more family-friendly activities in an expanded Kids Clubhouse and new family concourse in the former Mezzanine area, and a two-story, climate-controlled bar.
