Inaugural Phillies Charities Bike Ride to take place Sunday, May 17

Registration for family-friendly bike ride through Philadelphia opens March 10 at 9 a.m.

Get geared up for a new family-fun bike ride, complete with Phillies fun!

On Sunday, May 17, at 7:00 a.m., join hundreds of cyclists for the inaugural Phillies Charities Bike Ride. This 25-mile ride through Philadelphia starts and ends at Citizens Bank Park.

Registration opens Tuesday, March 10, at 9:00 a.m. on phillies.com

Open to fans 13 years of age and older, the Phillies Charities Bike Ride is for fans of all riding abilities.

"We invite fans to get on their bikes and join the fun at our inaugural Phillies Charities Bike Ride through Philadelphia," said Mary Ann Moyer, Phillies Director, Community Initiatives. "Like our Phillies Charities 5K event, the bike ride will be a great way for fans to show their Phillies spirit - all for a good cause."

Each rider will receive an official Phillies Charities Bike Ride cycling jersey, a voucher good for four tickets to a 2015 Phillies game* and a 20% discount coupon for use at the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park.

Entry fee is $100.00 per person, with net proceeds benefitting Phillies Charities, Inc.

*Voucher good for four tickets to a Phillies vs. Rockies game on Friday, May 29 at 7:05 p.m., Saturday, May 30 at 3:05 p.m. or Sunday, May 31 at 1:35 p.m.
