The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has re-signed free agent RHP JOE COLON to a Minor League contract with a non-roster invitation to Major League camp.

Colon, 25, split the 2015 season between Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus, posting a combined ERA of 3.14 (48.2IP, 47H, 17ER, 47SO) in 33 appearances, his first season pitching solely in relief in his professional career. He opened the year in Akron and did not allow a run over 16 of his last 17 Double-A outings from June 3-July 28 (1.08 ERA, 25.0IP, 10H, 3ER) before being promoted to Columbus in early August. The Caguas, Puerto Rico native was the club's 12th round selection in the 2009 First-Year Player Draft and owns a career Minor League ERA of 3.50 in 124 games.
