Indians recall RHP Frank Herrmann from AAA Columbus

CLEVELAND -- The Cleveland Indians today announced the club has recalled RHP FRANK HERRMANN from Triple-A Columbus.

Herrmann, 28, has spent most of the 2012 season with Columbus, going 2-2 with 8 saves and a 4.78 ERA in a team-best 42 relief appearances (52.2 IP, 58 H, 28 ER, 15 BB, 58 K, .282 AVG).  He averaged 9.9 strikeouts per 9.0 IP for the Clippers. He went 0-0 with a 4.76 ERA in 4 relief outings (5.2 IP, 5 H, 3 R/ER, .238 AVG) over one previous stint with Cleveland, August 7-22.  He wears #56.

The Major League roster now consists of 29 players.
