1995 reunion weekend to be held June 19-20

AL champs to be honored during first two games of series against Tampa Bay

CLEVELAND -- Thirteen members of the historic American League champion 1995 Cleveland Indians team will be in town for the first two games of a weekend series against Tampa Bay on June 19 and 20.

Former manager Mike Hargrove as well as former players Kenny Lofton, Jim Thome, Carlos Baerga, Sandy Alomar, Dennis Martinez, Charles Nagy, Paul Assenmacher, Chad Ogea, Alvaro Espinoza, Eric Plunk, Julian Tavarez and Herbert Perry will appear throughout the weekend.

Baerga and Espinoza will be available for a meet-and-greet with fans before Friday's game from 6-6:30 p.m. ET in the Right Field District, with a special 1995 pregame reunion ceremony occurring on the field shortly thereafter.

Friday night's game will also feature Sugardale Dollar Dogs and a postgame celebration, including the raising of the '95 AL championship flag and fireworks set to the music of the 2015 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees.

On Saturday, the first 12,500 fans will receive an exclusive 1995 T-shirt designed by GV Art + Design and there will also be a pregame celebration at 6:30 p.m. and postgame fireworks set to the songs of 1995.

An exclusive question-and-answer session with members of the 1995 team, as well as a VIP screening of "Wahoo! What a Finish!" will be held at PlayhouseSquare's Connor Palace Theatre on Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at indians.com/1995 for $30, with all proceeds going to Cleveland Indians Charities.
