Jayson Werth Using Game of Thrones Theme

Let me start by saying that Jayson Werth’s walk-up music is better than anybody else’s in the game. Not better than 99% of everybody else. 100% better than anybody else. His “official” walk-up song, as listed on MLB’s AtTheBallpark app, is “Warehouse” by Dave Matthews Band. Is it a good song? Sure.

However, I literally can’t find a part in the song that would be used as a “traditional” walk-up song, and that makes it a hundred times better. Plus, apparently, he’s used “Werewolves of London” and the theme song from “The Walking Dead.”

The “Game of Thrones” theme that he is now using just put him over the top. Game of Thrones is one of the hottest shows on air. I’ll admit it: The starting credits are a bit of a bore, IF you’re watching without sound. With this song playing and the starting credits rolling, it makes it one of the best openers on TV. I’m not sure how he’s going to improve upon this. He might want to quit while he’s ahead and simply not have another walk-up song this year. Walk out in complete silence. It would be sort of like a moment of silence. “Guys I killed the walk-up song game this year and it’s the second week of the season. Moment of silence, please.” I highly doubt this will happen, so I’m very excited to see how he’s going to follow this. If he chooses to, that is.
