Beckett Roerdink has captured the hearts of Americans, especially Brewers catcher Jonathan Lucroy. Roerdink is a four-year old with inoperable brain cancer whose powerful story captivated the nation when he asked for people all over to send him mail to brighten his day. Lucroy took it a step further: the All-Star partnered with the Catch a Star organization and spent a day with young Beckett, and the two instantly connected.
