Omaha Storm Chasers (42-37)

Omaha lost the completion of a suspended game, then won a seven-inning contest. The first contest began in New Orleans and was stopped with Danny Duffy on the mound in the first. Yohan Pino took Duffy's spot on Tuesday, allowing five runs over 4.2 innings. Whit Merrifield recorded two of the five Omaha hits. Clayton Mortensen posted 6.0 shutout innings in game two, with Scott Alexander working the seventh for his fifth save. Matt Fields put Omaha on top with a solo homer in the fourth. Whit Merrifield and Gabriel Noriega each drove in a run.

NW Arkansas Naturals (2-4 Second Half, 42-34 Overall)

North All-Stars 9, South All-Stars 4

HR: Jorge Bonifacio (1)

Northwest Arkansas outfielder Jorge Bonifacio earned MVP honors as the North team won the Texas League All-Star Game in Corpus Christi. Bonifacio drove in three runs, including a two-run homer in the eighth. Balbino Fuenmayor added three hits, an RBI and a run. Terrance Gore posted a run, Alex Liddi was 1-for-2 and J.C. Sulbaran tossed a scoreless inning with two strikeouts.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (4-1 Second Half, 42-33 Overall)

HR: Mauricio Ramos (4)

The Blue Rocks picked up their seventh shutout of the season as Mauricio Ramos' first inning homer was the lone run. Alec Mills tossed seven scoreless innings and struck out eight for Wilmington. Mills has now thrown 23.1 straight scoreless innings over his last three outings. This was his second scoreless outing against the Keyas as he tossed 8.1 innings on June 18.

Lexington Legends (4-1 Second Half, 35-40 Overall)

Lexington 14, Rome 10
WP: Zach Lovvorn (5-6)
SV: Evan Beal (5)
HR: Chad Johnson (2), Brandon Downes (5)

The Legends outscored the Braves with the help of a grand slam by Brandon Downes and a solo-shot by Chad Johnson. Second baseman Corey Toups went 3-for-5 on the day and picked up three RBI in the 14-10 victory.

Idaho Falls Chukars (4-9)

Ogden 9, Idaho Falls 8

HR: None

The Chukars scored five in the seventh, however, they lost the opener vs. Ogden. Idaho Falls entered the ninth inning with a two-run lead, but gave up three in the loss to the Raptors. Left fielder Roman Collins went 2-for-4 on the night and picked up two RBI.

Burlington Royals (4-4)

Burlington 5, Bluefield 4

The Royals won their third straight and pulled themselves into a three-way tie for first place in the East Division. The offense recorded eleven hits with the help of Angelo Castellano, who went 3-for-4. Castellano scored the go-ahead run in the seventh.

Surprise Royals (6-2)

The Royals had an off day. They will resume play tonight against the Diamondbacks' Arizona League affiliate.
