The Storm Chasers were swept in a four-game series at Round Rock. Andy Ferguson made his Triple-A debut, scattering two runs (one earned), four hits and three walks with five strikeout over 6.0 innings. Lane Adams singled home Cheslor Cuthbert for the lone Omaha run, with Francisco Pena out trying to score on the play. Cuthbert led Omaha with two hits. The Storm Chasers begin a five-game series tonight at Memphis (Cardinals).

NW Arkansas Naturals (22-12)

Springfield 6, NW Arkansas 5
LP: J.C. Sulbaran (3-3)
HR: Balbino Fuenmayor (8)

Northwest Arkansas nearly erased a 5-0 deficit before falling short at home. J.C. Sulbaran took the loss, allowing five runs, nine hits and four walks with two strikeouts over 5.2 innings. Balbino Fuenmayor had three RBI, including a two-run homer. He's second in the league in average (.365), tied with teammate Mike Bianucci for first in homers at eight and third in RBI (27). Raul Mondesi returned from the disabled list, recording a hit in his first game since April 9.

Wilmington Blue Rocks (18-16)

Lynchburg 4, Wilmington 1
LP: Alec Mills (2-2)
HR: None

Wilmington dropped the opener at Lynchburg. Robert Pehl drew a bases-loaded walk in the first, giving the Blue Rocks an early lead. Frank Schwindel recorded three of the six Wilmington hits. Ramon Torres posted a double, a run and two stolen bases. Alec Mills fanned nine without a walk, yielding three runs in 5.2 innings.

Lexington Legends (15-19)

Lexington 9, Savannah 3
WP: Emilio Ogando (2-1)
HR: Ryan O'Hearn (8)

Brandon Downes' 5-for-5 night led Lexington to a second straight win at Savannah. Downes finished a home run from the cycle, recording three doubles and a triple. Ryan O'Hearn hit his eighth homer run, tying for the league lead. Emilio Ogando pitched 4.0 scoreless innings for the relief win.
