Chen to make third rehab start Friday

KANSAS CITY -- Left-hander Bruce Chen is scheduled for his third rehabilitation outing Friday for Triple-A Omaha at Fresno, Calif.

Chen went on the disabled list May 2 because of a bulging disc in his back.

"My back feels great," he said.

Chen is expected to throw about 75 pitches Friday night.

"I think this one coming up is going to be very important for me, fine-tuning all my pitches," he said.
