Kevin Gausman Needs a New Ritual
Back in June, we told you about Baltimore Orioles pitching prospect Kevin Gausman’s interesting pre-game rituals. Gausman, who was selected by the Orioles in the first round of the 2012 First-Year Player Entry Draft, eats four Hostess brand powdered mini-doughnuts before each inning that he pitches. Seriously.
Unsurprisingly, Gausman was not happy with the news that Hostess will no longer produce baked goods. As expressed on his Twitter account, Friday was a difficult day for the young right-hander:
