• Aramis Ramirez's agent, Paul Kinzer, was in Milwaukee over the weekend and is in Chicago this week, but Ramirez said the visit has nothing to do with his contractual future. Ramirez is in the final guaranteed season of his contract, and at some point the Brewers and Kinzer will have to discuss Ramirez's mutual option for 2015.

Ramirez described the visit as a social one.

"There's nothing going on there," Ramirez said.

• The commemorative "Cerveceros" jerseys worn by players and coaches during Sunday's Ninth Annual Cerveceros Day at Miller Park are available through an online auction at Brewers.com/auction through Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. CT. Proceeds will be earmarked by the Brewers Community Foundation for the Wisconsin Hispanic Scholarship Fund, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Wisconsin Scholarship Fund and the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee Scholarship Fund.
