Legends Entertainment District announces partnership with Ram and Dodge

PHOENIX - The Legends Entertainment District (@LegendsDistrict), a first-of-its-kind joint venture between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Phoenix Suns, announced a new partnership with Ram and Dodge. The partnership features a custom 3-D super graphic of the new Ram 1500 truck as well as a static super graphic featuring the Dodge Dart.

"When creating a campaign for Ram Trucks we knew we needed to do something bold and memorable," said Legends Entertainment District General Manager Judd Norris. "Their marketing and creative teams challenged us to push past traditional signage to come up with something unique. By placing a 30-by-14 foot, three-dimensional truck on the side of Chase Field and utilizing 2,923 square feet of total marketing space on a high profile location, we think we hit the mark for this iconic powerful brand."

The custom three-dimensional super graphic that features the new Ram 1500 truck is located on the north side of Chase Field along Jefferson Street. The 1,512-square-foot static super graphic that features the Dodge Dart is located on the Jefferson Street Garage at the corner of 3rd Street and Jackson. In addition, the partnership includes digital LED signage throughout the entire Legends District Network.

"Ram Trucks is excited to partner with the Legends Entertainment District to develop a massive custom outdoor installation featuring Motor Trend's 2013 Truck of the Year, the Ram 1500," said David Englen, Director of the West Business Center for the Chrysler Group LLC. "We feel that the location and scale make this an ideal opportunity to showcase the Ram 1500 to Arizona Diamondbacks fans."

Chrysler Group LLC, formed in 2009 to establish a global strategic alliance with Fiat S.p.A., produces Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram, Mopar, SRT and FIAT vehicles and products. With the resources, technology and worldwide distribution network required to compete on a global scale, the alliance builds on Chrysler Group's culture of innovation, first established by Walter P. Chrysler in 1925, and Fiat's complementary technology that dates back to its founding in 1899.

Chrysler Group's product lineup features some of the world's most recognizable vehicles, including the Chrysler 300 and Town & Country, Jeep Wrangler, Dodge Dart, Ram 1500, SRT Viper and Fiat 500. Fiat contributes world-class technology, platforms and powertrains for small- and medium-size cars, allowing Chrysler Group to offer an expanded product line including environmentally friendly vehicles.

The Legends Entertainment District offers customized, larger than life out of home opportunities that run 18 hours a day, 365 days a year. The project was designed to encompass landmark downtown facilities, extending from 1st Avenue to 7th Street and Washington to Jackson Street.

In addition to the corporate partnership signage, the Legends Entertainment District provides digital informational programming in the form of LED news tickers and other relevant content that can change on a moment's notice.

Nearly two billion individual LED lights are used to illuminate the Legends Entertainment District, which includes 13 screens for a total of 6,819 square feet of LED and over 50,000 square feet of static signage. The fiber optic cable laid end to end is 228 miles in length, which is equal to the distance driving from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. The Legends Entertainment District includes nearly 100,000 pounds (50 tons) of steel and more than 140,000 feet of electrical wire.

Downtown Phoenix attracts more than eight million visitors annually at over 700 events, while 57,000 office workers are based out of the area. For more information about the Legends Entertainment District, visit www.legendsentertainmentdistrict.com.
