LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers first played in a postseason in 1916, first won a World Series in 1955 and haven't won one since 1988.

Last time won playoff series: 2013, beat the Braves in the NLDS, three games to one.

Last time won NL: It's been a 27-year drought, since the Dodgers beat the Mets in seven games of the 1988 NL Championship Series.

Last time won World Series: It was 1988, Kirk Gibson's Roy Hobbs moment, Orel Hershiser hoisted by Rick Dempsey and the Bash Brothers stunned by Tom Lasorda's underdogs.
