Weisman hired as director of digital and print content

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Jon Weisman, founder of the independent "Dodger Thoughts" website, has been hired by the Dodgers as director of digital and print content.

Weisman will be responsible for creating and producing original digital content for the club's website, as well as overseeing all of the Dodgers' publications, including Dodgers Magazine, and integrating them online.

He comes to the Dodgers after seven years at Variety, where he was a senior editor.
