Dodgers set to open, close '15 at home vs. Padres

L.A. slated for Interleague Play against AL West opponents next season

LOS ANGELES -- The Dodgers will open and close the 2015 regular season at home against the Padres, based on the schedule released on Monday by MLB.

Opening Day at Dodger Stadium will be Monday, April 6, the start of a three-game series with San Diego. The final game of the season will be Sunday, Oct. 4.

The Dodgers will face the American League West in Interleague Play. There will be three-game series against the Angels at home from July 31-Aug. 2 and in Anaheim from Sept. 7-9.

In addition, the Dodgers will host Seattle from April 13-15, Texas from June 17-18 and Oakland from July 28-29. And the Dodgers will travel to Texas from June 15-16, Oakland from Aug. 18-19 and Houston from Aug. 21-23.

The San Francisco Giants visit Dodger Stadium for the first time on April 27 and for the final time on Aug. 31.

The Dodgers will be home on Memorial Day (Monday, May 25 vs. Atlanta), Father's Day (Sunday, June 21 vs. San Francisco) and Saturday, July 4 (vs. the Mets).

The Dodgers will join all Major League clubs in celebrating Jackie Robinson Day on Wednesday, April 15, with a special pregame ceremony before a game against the Mariners.
