Marlins Park Wins Distinguished Eagle Award In Excellence In Construction From Associated Builders & Contractors
Marlins Park received the prestigious Eagle Award, ABC-FEC’s Excellence in Construction from Associated Builders & Contractors. Marlins Park was the top winner in the Mega Project, that is, more than $200 Million category in the South East region. The award was presented to the Miami Marlins on Friday, October 19 during the Excellence in Construction Awards Ceremony at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Florida.
In addition, three specialty Eagle Awards were presented to Formworks/Baker Joint Venture, John J Kirlin and Designers Specialty Millwork for their excellent concrete work, mechanical and millwork finishes at Marlins Park. Marlins Park is also being considered for the ABC National’s Excellence in Construction Awards, which will be announced in February, 2013.
