Marlins unveil 2013 promotions schedule
Season will feature special deals, concerts, giveaways and more
The Miami Marlins announced today their promotions schedule for the 2013 regular season. Sean Flynn, Sr. Vice President of Marketing and Event Booking made the announcement. This year's promotions schedule features 14 fan giveaways as well as an unprecedented menu of special value ticket offers for fans, available for every day of the week.
On Monday home games in 2013, the popular All-You-Can-Eat Seats return for just $22 in Vista Reserved or $32 in Legends Silver. The All-You-Can-Eat Seats include a game ticket and unlimited Kayem Beef Franks, Peanuts, Popcorn, Nachos, Pepsi Sodas, and Aquafina Water. The offer will be available online or at the Marlins Park Ticket Office. The offer will be available on Opening Night (April 8) for $27 in Vista Reserved and $37 in Legends Silver. Also on Mondays in 2013, military personnel, veterans, first responders, military civilians and their spouses and children can take advantage of complimentary tickets with the South Florida Heroes Mondays promotion. Promotion is available on the day of game only beginning two hours before the game. Fans must also present a valid ID.
On Miami Herald Half Price Tuesdays, fans can get Buy-One-Get-One tickets in Legends Silver, Baseline Reserved, Bullpen Reserved and Home Run Porch. Fans can purchase up to 8 tickets per transaction, online at marlins.com or at the Marlins Park ticket office.
Wednesdays will also feature a new promotion, as all kids 12 and under can eat free on Wednesday night home games (excludes Weather Day on May 1 and Camp Days on June 26 and July 10). The Kids Eat Free Wednesday Nights promotion is valid for all seating categories in the ballpark. Each child 12 and under will receive a voucher at the ballpark entrance for a free Kayem Beef Frank, a bag of chips and a small Pepsi, redeemable at any Fan Feast concession stand in the ballpark or at the Kids Shack concession stand in centerfield on the Promenade Level. Also on Wednesdays, fans can take advantage of the Chevron "Crazy 8's" Ticket Offer and get $8 Home Run Porch tickets or $18 Home Plate Box tickets to any Wednesday home game in 2013 with the purchase of eight (8) gallons or more from any South Florida Chevron station. Fans can present their receipt at the Marlins Park Box Office to receive their tickets. Fans also have the option of purchasing tickets online at marlins.com by using a special coupon code obtained by visiting your local Chevron station.
Fans 55 and older can take advantage of the Seniors Free Ticket Thursdays promotion and receive complimentary tickets to any Thursday home game in 2013. Valid identification must be shown at the Marlins Park Ticket Office at the designated window on the day of game only, beginning two hours prior to scheduled first pitch. Tickets will be based on best available, not to exceed Home Plate Box. The Subway Restaurants Discount Ticket promotion returns this season, and fans can visit their local participating Subway location to receive a Marlins voucher valid for a $5 ticket in the Home Run Porch or Vista Box seating areas to select Miami Marlins regular season home games. The Subway voucher is only valid at the Marlins Park Ticket Office at Marlins Park.
Weekends will be highlighted by several promotions and events, beginning with Fireworks Fridays, which include a pregame party on the West Plaza and immediately following the game fans can enjoy a Fireworks Show over Marlins Park from the comfort of their seats. Fireworks Fridays will have their own special ticket promotions as well with the Sir Pizza 4-Pack, which includes four (4) Vista Box tickets, four (4) personal Sir Pizzas and four (4) Pepsi soft drinks, all for $60 and available on every Friday night home game.
Saturday Spectaculars return this season and will include a pregame party on the West Plaza, with live music on the main stage, appearances from the Marlins and Office Depot Sea Creatures, interactive displays, and entertainment for all ages. After each Saturday Spectacular, fans will be invited to the West Plaza for a post-game concert with national recording artists. A full schedule of artists will be released on marlins.com and marlinsbeisbol.com closer to the start of the season. The All-You-Can-Eat Seats will also be available on Saturday Spectaculars, for just $27 in Vista Reserved or $37 in Legends Silver. Like Mondays, menu items will include Kayem Beef Franks, Peanuts, Popcorn, Nachos, Pepsi Sodas, and Aquafina Water.
All 13 Sunday home games will be designated as Marlins Family Sundays. The Pepsi 4-for-$54 Pack moves to Family Sundays starting in 2013, with packages available in Legends Silver, Baseline Reserved and Vista Box. The Pepsi 4-for-$54 Pack includes four (4) tickets, four (4) Kayem Beef Franks and four (4) Pepsi soft drinks, starting at just $54. As part of Family Sunday activities, Radio Disney AM 990 will host the Family Fun Zone pregame, kids can get a photo with a Marlins player at Snapshot Sunday and all kids will be allowed to run the bases in Diamond Dash after all Sunday games. All Family Sunday home games will also include a Marlins giveaway.
Single game tickets for the 2013 season go on sale this Saturday, February 9 at 10 A.M. at Marlins Park during the MetroPCS Miami Marlins Winter Warm Up (10AM-3PM) and online beginning at 10 A.M. at www.marlins.com and www.marlinsbeisbol.com. Also at the Winter Warm Up, fans can receive $5 off of Opening Night tickets in Vista Box, Home Run Porch, Legends Silver and Legends Gold tickets, or $10 off all Legends Platinum, Base Reserved, Home Plate Box and Clubhouse Box tickets.
