Minor Leaguer Jacquez suspended 50 games

NEW YORK -- Mets Minor League reliever Ricky Jacquez received a 50-game suspension for a second positive test for a drug of abuse, Major League Baseball announced Friday. His suspension will begin at the start of Rookie League affiliate Kingsport's season in June.

Jacquez, 22, last has not appeared in a professional game since 2013, when he saved six games with a 1.74 ERA in 16 appearances for Kingsport.
