Mets name Chris Zaber Vice President, Ticket Sales and Services

FLUSHING, N.Y., December 5, 2014 - The New York Mets announced today that Chris Zaber will be joining the organization as Vice President, Ticket Sales and Services. Zaber will be responsible for providing leadership, management and strategic direction for the club's Ticket Sales & Services department, and will join the Mets on Monday, December 8. 

Zaber comes to the Mets from the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he has been Senior Director of Ticket Sales & Services for the past six seasons. He previously had multiple years of increasing responsibility in ticket sales and premium seating positions with the Atlanta Hawks (NBA)/Atlanta Thrashers (NHL)/Philips Arena, Denver Nuggets (NBA)/Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Charlotte/New Orleans Hornets (NBA), and Carolina Panthers (NFL).

Zaber began his career as an intern with the Carolina Panthers after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1999 with a B.A. in Exercise and Sports Science and focus on Sports Administration. 

A native of DuBois, PA., Chris and his wife Bridget have three sons and will be relocating to the New York tri-state area in the next month.
